Hong Kong RFID Collaborate with Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers¡¦ Association to provide Leading RFID Application for Jewelry Industry

How does RFID technology apply on Jewelry? Is it more cost effective to use RFID technology? Is it difficult to operate a RFID system? These questions are concerned by jewelry manufacturers. Hong Kong RFID introduced a RFID Jewelry Management System in the earlier period. This system has raised the attention for many jewelry manufacturers. Jewelry manufacturers would like to know more about the operation of the system. Now, Hong Kong RFID has been invited by Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers¡¦ Association (HKJMA) to demonstrate the effective way for RFID implementation for jewelry industry. During the meeting, HKJMA and Hong Kong RFID discuss the collaboration to promote this technology to different jewelry manufacturer, wholesalers and retailers. Mr. Tony Lau, the director of technology of HKJMA, said, ¡§RFID can greatly improve different operation flows in jewelry industry, such ask stock taking, inventory control, work in progress and exhibition. The return of investment (ROI) of RFID system is very significant in our industry and we are promoting to our member.¡¨
